TOUGH DOESN’T QUIT

Tough doesn’t settle. Tough doesn’t back down. And just like you, tough doesn’t quit.

They say it takes 10,000 hours to master something, and Polaris has been honing its craft for the past 70 years and counting. Polaris’ relentless pursuit of quality drives constant innovation, which results in every new vehicle being tougher and more durable than the last. From front to back, Polaris rigorously test its machines for thousands of hours so you can ride on your terms. Drawing inspiration from its riders to fuel innovation both in the lab and out in the real world, Polaris will happily break its machines before it breaks its standards—all to better your ride.

TEST #1 - DURABILITY SIMULATOR
Polaris’ durability simulator replicates real-life conditions to test if a vehicle can withstand various stresses and loads. The simulator's main job is to look for issues like vehicle fatigue and parts wear. It only takes a week to run through the lifespan of a vehicle. Once it's out, Polaris fixes any flaws, enhances it, and sends it off, ready to take on the next testing phase.

TEST #2 - DROP TEST
Why drop a perfectly good machine from over a dozen feet in the air? Because Polaris demands next-level durability. The drop test verifies that the chassis—the core value of your vehicle—remains intact after major impacts. This way, you can ride confidently, knowing Polaris machines can withstand tough terrain.

TEST #3 - SOUND CHAMBER

Polaris want to perfect every aspect of your ride, which is why it uses a sound chamber to measure decibel levels. High horsepower can generate a lot of noise, which isn’t always ideal—whether you’re towing 3,000+ lbs. or taming open trails. Through testing, Polaris monitors and adjusts noise by determining if seals are tight enough to minimise excessive engine sounds.
